Being one of the proud owners of the game I submitted my email to the connection weeks ago and then was eager to dive. Tonight, like many of you I’ve been diving following year in the beta seeking to have a sense of the changes. Wow, So distinct I’d like to tell you. I decided to hop to a head to head match to see how things felt After my match was fully installed. My opponent ran schemes I have never noticed before! There was that A play known as cover 4 drop show 2? But he brought down everyone and sent a lot of Madden 21 coins backers. Some things that I am excited to test in the new sport. Offensively he seemed to have guys open on corner routes a lot? Not certain but that could be the play next year! Additionally he liked to celebrate a whole lot from the area and use timeouts unnecessarily. Each of these changes have me excited for the end of August and I cannot wait to find other schemes attracted into life in Madden 21!
A couple of ideas from me: Running feels similar. I didn’t run a ton, but the changes to the R rod moves were far less drastic than I expected. Contains seem as though they work! I attempted the slide from hb, block the HB, twice the DT, ID the end-type plot that in 20 almost always let’s you rollout, and when my opponent was on a feature, it closed down the rollout. The rusher does not rush into the HB block, and does an effective job of keeping you in the pocket. Taking away the quick accuracy penality for throws right after the snap is huge. I just played with the computer, but I could throw wheel paths daily, if the CBs were not playing flat zone.
Seemed very overpowered. Really, any route that breaks quickly into the sideline may be deadly this season. A Texas route from your HB, motioned outside could be very good. Coach adjustment menu now allows you to toggle between defense and offense at any moment. You don’t need to worry on defense to produce training adjustments. Nice little touch. Exactly the same zone beating theories appear to work in 20. It’s possible to find a cover 2 deep zone to dumb out with the right path combinations, you can perform the typical cover 3 bomb notion, cover 4 has bombed with a lanky post and deep inside, etc. Same stuff. In general feels just like Madden 20.
The very first part of Madden 21 is people wanting to run on the meta of Madden 20. Nobody knows what the meta will be they will stick with the plays until they get phased out. I don’t know if 3-4 bear or c4ds2 blitzes will get phased out but I anticipate 1-4-6 to be one of the first things to see if folks realize you could sub in tight ends in spread circles then audible down into heavier sets. Roll out corners are going to be around for a while until we figure out the best depth for the zone drops to stop them and just how much range those zones have. People will run elongate but it should not be as effective and will eventually be phased out of the meta.
Did you attempt to use the corner paths to be covered by the drop zone missions? If you go to training adjustments you’ll be able to inform the zones that are flat in which to perform basically. You can have them stay back around 30 yards iirc. I was able to use it in a few instances and although it was able to easily pay the corner and/or crossers, you had been severely lacking in the underneaths. Unfortunately although I’m sure there is a sweet place there isn’t a practice mode to test it I did not get to use it enough. Could simply have the curls play and the apartments that are tough play down and create a policy to the corner to buy Madden nfl 21 coins fix it. I really do like that addition a lot it is just gont require practice and some studying to get the sweet spots.
