Rithwik is in his 7 th month.i am giving Nestum rice and vegetables.
i am breasfeeding him too. i want to know HOW TO PREPARE VEGETABLE PUREES?
can i add sugar to that ,because once i tried he is vomting

Vegetable purees, you could make them afresh daily instead of storing them.
you could prepare with vegetables like carrot, potato or fruits like apple, banana.
you could clean them, cook it and then mash it. you could give you kid either with little bit of salt or sugar.
you try one at at time and when the kid is okay with the food continue with that.
You could also start with giving Kanchi like Rice, Ragi or navathaniya kanchi (Podraige) but try one by one.
At this stage, give cooked, mashed items which is semisolid collaidal so that it is easy for digestion.

Kindly avoid sugar as most of these items carry sugar in them itself,if they don’t contain also no probs don’t expose baby to sugar taste which gets baby as liking towards sweets later.

I cook sweet potatoes, carrots, green peas, potatoes, french beans and mash it and feed for my baby. I try different combinations of these veggies.
I also steam boil apples and feed my baby. Generally i dont add sugar for any of these. But i give raagi kanji in the mornings for my kid. For that i add panangalkandu(boil and add the filtered water) for the sugar taste before boiling the kanji. You can also add jaggery. Please mix the jaggery in water, boil it and once dissolved use it after filtering as these may contain few dust particles.
you can also give orange juice.
