What to do if baby is allergic to Soy?

Soy is a top allergen. It’s hard to decide because of so many benefits and negatives of drinking or eating soy products.

The reason why Infant formula has Soy :

Avoid food that has the following as the ingredients like shoyo sauce, miso, hydrolyzed soy protein, soy nuts, soy grits, soy flour, soy protein concentrate, soy protein isolate, tempeh, soy sauce, textured vegetable protein, and tofu.
Other soy or soy products will be hydrolyzed vegetable protein, hydrolyzed plant protein, Flavorings, vegetable gum, vegetable broth, natural flavoring, vegetable starch.

Methods to avoid soy products and soy :

Always make sure to contact the manufacturer. Let them help to identify natural flavorings in foods.
Most flavorings are soy based, best if know about it and avoid them.
Hydrolyzed vegetable protein and Hydrolyzed plant protein are soy.
Try to talk to company to find whether vegetable broth, gums, and starches have soy in them.
