Omega-3 fatty acids decrease inflammatory chemicals that age the skin and increases the skins ability to retain moisture. You should even include protein-rich foods in your diet. Avoid foods having high quantities of carbohydrates and sugar contents.

Drink the right fluids

Choosing the right beverages can make your skin look healthy and fresh. Doctors’ advice women to drink a glass of chlorophyll every morning or eat chlorophyll supplements, as chlorophyll helps in brightening, hydrating and oxygenating your skin. Women are also advised to drink green juices with veggies in them. You should even avoid drinking alcohol, as it leads to swallowing and dull complexion. But a glass of red wine can make your skin radiant.

Proper sleep

Proper sleep increases your inner beautification capabilities. Sleep deprivation increases the signs of ageing on your skin and makes your skin look tired and dark. Sleeping is the best stress buster. Excess stress can lead to pimples and acnes on your skin. Women should get at least 8 hours of proper sleep. Stress makes your skin lose its glow. Always use moisturisers suitable for your skin type. The moisturiser should be gentle and shouldn’t cause you irritation. Right after you come out of the shower and right before you go to the bed, are considered as the right times to moisturise.

Using too many make-up products can cause a negative reaction to your skin. It can result in slogged pores and breakouts. You should stick to few good products and always consult your skin doctor, before using any new product.

While cleansing your face, you should use facewash, which has a neutral pH level and is gentle on the skin.
