Hair fall during pregnancy is something which is very common and happens to all. The main reason for severe hair fall is is due to change in the level of hormones. This hair fall will begin to diminish within 3-4 months after delivery.
Brushing Of Hair
The hair cells will already tend to be week and should be treated gently. Do not brush your hair often. Brushing of your hair often leads to excessive hair fall.
Do not go for tight hairstyles like pony tail, braids or using of rubber bands are a strict no. Do not tighten up your hair a lot. Keep it loose or tie them up loose. This may tend to cause breakage of hair and adds on to more hair fall.
Shampoo And Conditioner
Using of different shampoos and conditioners will lead to hair fall. It is best that you avoid using shampoo too often than you need to. It is always good to use milder shampoo and conditioner which nourishes your hair and do not provide any damage to your hair.
Do not use straightening treatments. Make sure you don’t style your hair using those hair tools. It is always safe to keep you hair free from all the styling during pregnancy period. Avoid using hair colours as well. This can lead to further damage.
Massaging of the scalp gives you good blood circulation. Oil massage will help nourish the hair and will take away all the heat from your body as well. It is very good for your hair growth.
Your body needs more nutrition during pregnancy. The requirement for iron is high. Protein, Minerals and Vitamins should be maintained properly in your everyday intake. Lack of all these will lead to hair loss. Taking in a lot of fruits and vegetables will give natural and proper nourishment to your hair.
Use Wide-Toothed Comb
Use a wide toothed comb to brush your hair. This kind of comb helps you to gently detangle your hair without causing any further damage.
Using of Neem leaves for your hair is one natural and best idea. Boil the Neem leaves until it reduces half in it’s quantity. Use the boiled water or the need leaf juice for the scalp of your hair. Do this process once or twice a week to reduce your hair loss.
Eggs And Yogurt
Take a bowl of eggs, shikakai powder and curd. Form that into a paste and apply it evenly to every part of your scalp and hair. Leave it for 30 minutes and wash it off with water. This will not only reduce your hair fall, but will also give you a better and smooth texture.
Take a bowl of fresh coconut milk and apply it on your scalp. Leave it for 20 to 30 minutes and wash it off with a mild shampoo. This will help reduce the hair fall and will also give good nourishment to your hair.
Onion And Honey
Cut the onion into two halves. Use on part of onion to make it into a paste. Add two tablespoon of honey. Mix the ingredients and apply it on the scalp gently. Leave it for 15 minutes and wash it off with warm water. This will help you cool your body and gives a reduction in hair fall.
Indian Gooseberry is otherwise called as amla. Take amla powder and add water to it. Create a paste and apply it on your scalp. Leave it for 20 to 30 minutes and wash it off with water. This is a very effective home remedy for hair fall.
Aloe vera is one of the excellent home remedies for hair fall. Using them regulary during your hair wash gives good nourishment and strengthens your hair growth.
Boil rosemary leaves in a cup of water for 10 minutes. Let it cool for a while and apply the mixture to your hair. This will help you get rid of hair fall.
Lemon is always a very effective home remedy for your hair. It keeps your hair hydrated. Take one tablespoon of lemon juice, olive oil, rosemary and one egg yolk. Mix all of them and apply it on your scalp. Leave this mixture on your hair for about 30 minutes and wash it off. This will help reduce your hair fall.
